I'm just starting my new garden - it is only one year old at the moment but still doing grand, I have a lot of plants still in pots which need to go into ground and I am thinking it might get a bit crowded but I sure do love my plants.

I think you might have to pinch out pea plants when they reach the height you want, I found my sweet peas still growing like mad even with pinch out.

Sorry to hear about your neighbour - that is not good for you, hoping you will find the perfect new home with a great space for gardening too. A gardener just has to keep on gardening and the wildlife do love a gardener.

I grow lots of herbs as this is a great interest of mine - I have rosemary, lavender, majoram, chives, oregano, mint, peppermint, loads of thymes (cos they good for respiratory) lungwort - but I don't use that yet) Calendula of course :O) (but that mainly skin preps medicinal) and pineapple sage, other sage, sorrel but then I think we getting into the veges which I also grow.

My garden is not too big - I also use the neighbours garden, who invited me to do his mainly because he doesn't do anything in the garden himself, so I grow my veg in his (easy access) and flowers and herbs in mine - although I do a bit of duplicating with the herbs and flowers in his garden to help keep the predator insects interested to fight off them aphids :O)

I am delighted my new garden has frogs to help keep the slugs and snails at bay and also a hedgehog :O) there is a robin that sings to me in the winter and spring and the blackbirds in the summer. Lots of other birds visit at different times. The garden at the moment is full of butterflies but alas some are cabbage white so I am going to have to watch out for them caterpillars eating my veg.

whoops I went on a bit there - sorry :O)

Wishing you a wonderful new near future garden too gardener - just perfect for all your needs :O) Hugs x
