Ghost Town

A ghost town is a town or city that has been completely abandoned by human inhabitants, usually because the economic activity that supported it has failed, or due to natural or human-caused disasters such as flood, government action, uncontrolled lawlessness or war. The term is sometimes used in a depreciative sense to include cities, towns, and neighborhoods which, while still populated, are significantly less so than years past.

A ghost town may be an archeological site where little or nothing remains above the soil surface

Some ghost towns may be overgrown, difficult to access, and dangerous or illegal to visit.


BESSIE........DUMBO........HENRIETTA......AND ALL YOU GOATS...........We NEED to get busy on this Island.......its gone to HELL.......it appears to be completely abandoned by human inhabitants......we need to get some action going.....get those tourists back in here

I want each of you to make a list of things you can do to help get this Island back to normal.....then meet me at the Casino Bar and we'll put our heads together and see what we can come up with.

Looks like Winged might wanna open a restaurant that serves "treatment" friendly food......which I think is a Wonderful idea...................rbm has some good menus ideas......and I tossed in a few Island favorites.

So....Lets get going on this.......Meet me in the Casino Bar after you complete your lists!!!!

  They are on a covert operation for the MOP. As soon as they get back, we are throwing a big party at the bar by the casino.

  News just in, the mission is completed.
  There were a few minor casualties but they are receiving the best care the MOP has to offer. They are in a UZB hospital in Germany. The rest of the squad are debriefing and all should receive a hero's welcome when they return next week.

  Ok Neut....now exactly when will that "next" week be?
  
  The week of July 13-17, which IS next week for me......or the week of July 20-24, which can sometimes be interpreted as the "next" week by some, and of course depending on when a person reads your post here, lets assume them don't read it until August......well hell then "next week could mean Aug 17 -21st to someone.
  
  So you will need to be a little more specific as to the actual date and time of said parties arrivals.
  
  Bessie, Dumbo, Henrettia and I are well over "3 sheets to the wind" and I'm not sure that rehabilitation is even possible for us anymore, as we have been left almost entirely alone on this deserted island for well over a month and have reverted to some very strange behavior in the name of "survival" and we may not be condusive to human companionship.

Here is a new place where we can play games and post off topic comments, about anything. This group is created because of the new posting policies DS has created. We want to play nice, but we can also think of this as a freedom zone.
