Posted on 07/22/09, 07:36 am
Hi all
I am 8 weeks and 5 d pregnant after TTC for four years. Numerous failed fertility treatments but am finally here. Just wanted to hook up with more mummies-to-be so could share symptoms, concerns etc.
Anyone out there?

Hey ladies
So glad to find some buddies. Congrats to you both. How are you both managing with first trimester symptoms?
I have been struggling with headaches. I dont mind the nausea but the headaches just makes it so much worse. -

Hey there, congratulations. I am about 9 wks now, my first pregnancy. I've been frustrated with my morning sickness, driving myself and my boyfriend crazy. That's why I decided to join some kind of support group! I have moments of feeling OK, but most of the time I feel like I'm on the verge of puking. I'm hungry almost every hour but don't want to eat/drink much of anything. What else? Grumpy, tired, lazy, depressed--Man I've turned into a monster! Come on 2nd trimester!!!
I hope you're feeling okay. -

Hi Everyone! 9 weeks today! We got married in June, went to Maui and now pregnant. Honeymoon baby! It's been a long 2-3 weeks with feeling tired, emotional and nausious. They certainly don't teach you this in sex-ed!
I have friends who have kids already and they give me a million do's and dont's, but I really want to chat with others that are going thru it right now. Today is so far a good day. I was able to eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast. It's the small things. TGIF. : ) -

Hello all
So glad to see so many mommies-to-be on here. I promise to check in regularly from today.
1weekatatime - I find that eating, ironically, helps with the nausea and my gynae agreed. Because I have headaches as well I have to eat something nutritious at least every two hours to avoid it getting out of hand.
I am now in week 13 and the headaches and nausea are mildly better but I find that my sinuses are getting a bit congested. This could be pregnancy-related or just a change of season for us. We start Spring in a week....YEY!!! I hate Winter.
Lets see I also am finding that my abdomen has a hard bump under it. Not visible but I can feel it if I run my hand over. So baby is growing nicely I hope. Have had our NT scan done and all is well in that arena so am very grateful.

I am just over 8 weeks!!! I also TTC for almost 4 years! I have been lucky with having only sore bb's and alittle nausea but no puking... I had a few migraines around the time i found out but nothing since! Good Luck everyone!
