Cramping

Posted on 06/22/09, 06:26 pm
I've noticed that sometimes when I sneeze I get like a cramp in my lower abdomen, it really kinda creeps me out because I dont know if its normal or not.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I never had that happen but i learned anything is possible. It could because of pressure that it feels like a cramp. My son always pushed down on me causing cramps and pinched nerves.

I am 13 weeks pregnant and have recently started experiencing that. I believe its round ligament pain - as a result of the stretching for baby's growth. I also get it if I turn to quickly in bed.

Hi hope it all turned out ok for you. I am 3weeks and have been cramping for 2weeks solid. Take it it's my uterus expanding???

That happened to me a lot when I was pregnant. Sometimes it would even be when I coughed or changed positions too quickly. My doctor said it was round ligament pain and stretching of the uterus and it's very normal. If you're worried, of course call your doctor :) I probably annoyed the heck out of the nurses at my doctor's office because I called about once a week to ask about some new ache or pain I was having!! Hey, better safe than sorry!!

It happened to me a few times, I thought it was because you sense so hard your insides like tighten, and also the ligament pain as well. But if your really worried about it you should call ur doctor and ask about it.
