Would you donate your Body to Science

If you are an organ donar, would you dinate your body for science. This idea really appeals to me, I dont like the idea of being underground with all that dirt on top of me. Take me to the body farm and watch me decompose for Forencis Pathology. CSI's learn from me.

Yes, if it meant that people could be cured and they can learn more about the illness that affects me to help others, Great topic. X -

I hate to talk about death, but know it's a part of life. I hate the idea of being all cut up. I know I would be dead, but still the thought! I would probably give my body to science to improve someone's life. Great topic oldboyscout. It really gets me thinking!! Katey -

yes, definitely, specially if it will help find a cure for these rotten diseases we have in this world, most specifically, cancer.to name just one. -

Yes I would. My brother in love, when he passed away when he was living in California, we were going to fly his body home to NJ, but were told we could not because he had donated his body to science. -

Same here, joybean. If I'm dead they can have whatever bits are still useful. There are a LOT of people on donor waiting lists. -

I thought it was a great idea. Then I checked into it and it was kinda freaky how they use bodies for all kinds of things - even as crash test dummies in cars or they send your brain one place and other parts other places.
I still thought about it and found a place here in California but then asked my family what they thought and they didn't like the idea so I am respecting their wishes to keep me in one piece. -

If you donate to science you can complete a form specifing for what use, after which they provide cremation at no charge. M They do not use bodies as test dummies, only for medical or forencic studies. . highest dignaty. My familf has helped me research this issue. -

Though I am a donor I do not plan to donate my body. I plan on being cremated and my ashes interned with my parents at the church I grew up in. My father got the church to make a memorial garden at the church. My mother's ashes were the first to be placed there. My father is now there with her. I plan on joining them.
