I live in the south in Texas.I live not far from an Island and the beach.I'am mom of four children and have 6 very loved grandchildren.Five boys and one girl.I became a widow three and half years ago.My youngest daughter who never married lives with me and shares my home.
I have asthma and did have high blood pressure but lately I obly take my meds as needed.I came to DS after the death of my hubby.
Tell us something about you so we can all get aquainted please?

I live in Maine. Not very far from the beaches and beautiful lighthouses. I've never been married or had kids. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. My mom has Azheimers. My dad is my hero. I've been seeing a man from Ohio for almost 2 years. We met on the internet. I used to be a special ed teacher. I suffer from severe panic attacks. I do take medication for them. I'm a fun, kindhearted, understanding person. I have a lust for life, and try to live each day to its fullest. I have one sister and 2 nieces. They are wonderful people!! Even though I have a small family, we all love and care for one another. We always have each others back :) I'm a lucky woman!! -

I live in Cape Town South Africa, it is lovely here, we have beautiful Mountains all around us. I live with my mom, my dad passed away almost 4 years ago. I have a older brother who lives in Australia. He is married and has 2 little girls. I going to see him in a few weeks time and spend Christmas with them. I also have a sister who is also older then me, she lives in Cape Town and is getting married next year. I have got 4 dogs and one cat that loves to bite feet. So it is beware of the cat here not the dogs.lol -

I have Neuropathy which I have only found out about this year. I have had it since I was 8 years old, and I have Fibromyalgia as well. -

I live in WA state and have been married to dh for 34 years. We have 2 dd's one died in 2002. She was total care and disabled. Our other live in MI and is married.
We have one furbaby and she keeps us going. I had a heart ablation surgery about 2 months ago and am still recovering. I have had a-fib for 14 years. My heart is still acting up, but it is alot better and they say the heart takes us to 6 months to completely heal.
Dh is wonderful and is fighting for his job. He got fired from the gov. and has a EEO (discrimination) suit and it is at the national level. We know that is this doesn't work we will get a lawyer. They were very unfair to him.
I am a school bus driver and love my job most of the time. Right now I am just back to work after 6 months and it is still a little hard for me as I still get tired, but that is okay.

I live in Northern Calif.. born and raised in So Calif... ....I moved here with my mom after the death of my sweet Thomas !!! he had lung cancer...I have stayed here ever since... my mom lived alone so we help eath other out... I have stage 4 cirrhosis and am in need of a liver transplant......along with Asmatha/ copd... other than that I'm pretty darn healthy LOL... I enjoy each and everyday...and I stay positive... I don't plan on going anywhere just yet :)..and coming to this group of wonderful people has helped me so very much !! Rachel.. you all don't know how I love and appreate you guy's........ you all help me in sooo many way's that I can't even find the word's to say what I want so I'll just say I love you guy's and you mean the world to me !!! okay enough of that mushy stuff...LOL -

Let's see, my name is Jan and I live in New Jersey. I am married with two sons. I have a identical twin sister. I no longer work due to medical issues. My husband and I like to travel, mostly we like to go on cruises. I have met some very wonderful people here on DS. I have also met a wonderful person, and now we are dear friends. I came to DS for some heart issues I was having. I have recieved alot of support from alot of people. -

Live in southern Oregon .Have 5 kids and 6 Grand kids.
Was treated for a liver problem the treatment worked But the treatment left me with depression
and I'm trying to work my way out of it.
Some day I hope I will learn how to spell.
