The gift

Have you ever received a gift for Christmas or your birthday and decided not to open it. Did you just throw it in the corner and just admire the pretty wrapping paper and the ribbon and bows. Of course not our curiosity would get the best of us and we would have to look in the box. We would want to see and feel the gift.

In James 1:17 the Bible says that every good and perfect gift comes from God above. God showers us with gifts and blessings, but many of us never tap into them. We sit him in the corner and we leave him in a box. He is reaching out to us, waiting and hoping that we will tap into all the good things he has for us.

Matthew 7:11 says that we who are evil know and do pour out good gifts to our children. How much more does the Father who is perfect pour out perfect gifts to us. Are we letting him or are we turning him away. Is he standing with his arms wide open waiting for you to come to him? Is he longing for a real relationship with you?
You may say well you don't know what I have done. Your right I don't but you don't know what I have done either.
His word says when we ask for forgiveness he tosses are sins into the depths of the sea never to be brought up again. Micah 7:19

If you are not convinced that God has his arms open waiting for you to come to him read the parable of the prodigal son. (Luke 15:11-32 ) The Father was waiting for his son, he was watching for him. It says he saw him from far off you have to be searching and looking to see something from far off. God is love and he sent his son (our big brother) as a living sacrifice that none of us have to parish but we all can have life everlasting.

Please tap into the perfect gift and live in the abundance God has for us.

God gives everyone special talents in life. He would like for all of us to have a relationship with Him, and He always waits for us to go to Him. Even if we have gone off from God, He's waiting for us to talk to Him. We have to ask Him what we want, and God will do His will for us.

Thats real good, thankyou! God does have gifts for us and we need to be intimate with him and recieve them. Alot of times I know I dont realize how much I am missing, and that the gifts are already there I just need to accept and believe.

Welcome
