Was it a good deal that we avoided a depression?

with the stimulus. I just saw Micheal Moors new Movie Capitalism A loverstory.

Some interesting things in it....Honas salk doisd not get a patent on the polio vacine...can you imagine that happening now?

And a preist describe marketing as propaganda. The hairs on ythe back of my neck stand up with marketing games. Now I know way it is clever propaganda that keeps the middle & lowe cl;as in theitr positions...

And finally the BIG ONE FOR ME....was the changes that were made by FDR after the deprssion. He proplosed a 2nd Bill of Rights guaranteeing all citizens security like they have in the rest of the world, but he died before anything could be don. His 2nd bill of rights would have guaranteed health care& education for all citizens plus a lot more that I cannot remember...
but it was a depression that spawned all those improvements. Did we do wrong by avoiding another depression with the stimulus? A depression would have caused many possible positive changes like the last one did.
