About calling & writing, I don't believe it does any good to do that unless a person is a member of their congressional district. I did vote in democracy america about which senators should have TV commercials aired in their area. And those that do live in one of those congrestional district,,,YOU HAVE POWER TO WRITE THOSE LETTER THAT COUNT!!!! -

I've sent quit a few in state senators too. My dad has printed some post cards out to promote a single pay.or system & he gets everyone he can to sign a card 3 cards address and he mails them. So I signed 3 of those too. The cards he had made up, which I used as a template to me emails & snail mails is....
Dear Congressman Kagen, Senator Herb Kohl, Senator Russ Feingold
I request that you support an affordable Public Health Insurance Plan that will provide an option for affordable health insurance for all Americans. A Public Insurance Plan is supported by 73% of voters, rural, urban, independents and even Republicans.
We currently have an affordable, cost effective Public Insurance Plan with a proven track record of 45 years that works for retired Americans. The administrative cost of this plan is at 4%. A cost effective Public Insurance Plan comparable to this plan must be included as an option for real health care reform for all Americans.
The private insurance industry, on the other hand, has a proven record of some
65 years that has brought America to the current economic health care crisis.
The bureaucratic administrative cost of private plans range from 26% to 31%, adding to the current unaffordable cost of private health insurance.
Thank you for your consideration of my request for s Public Health Insurance Plan Option

this i found on a washington post article
"These are the bribes that have been paid by the health care industry to these Senators. I guess their money is more productive than the will of the American voters.
Senator Wyden - $1.2 million
Senator Nelson - $1 million
Senator Landrieu - $1.3 million
Senator Specter - $4 million
Senator Feinstein - $1.4 million
Senator Baucus - $3 million"
Amazing! all democrats...all against....all big recipients from health care lobby organizations! hmmm....does it smell like a fish market here?

I thought Feinstein was for health care reform. How disappointing. I think I'm going to send her an email.
