Oh the PAIN!

Posted on 03/18/09, 05:05 pm
I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for the past 3 1/2 years. I've been on a few different medications which had no effect on the symptoms. I'm now on Lyrica and have been for a 1 1/2 years, I take 300 mg a day. The dose keeps going up though and I'd be interested in finding out what other people think of Lyrica. Up until about 3 weeks ago my symptoms were pretty well under control but I just started back to work after 4 1/2 years of being unable emotionally to function enough to work. I suffer from depression amongst other things. Has anyone had flare-ups because of stressful situations in their lives? I don't have another appointment with my Dr. until June and I'm not sure if the pain will subside as my stress level decreases. I'm wondering if starting back to work is the cause of my pain.
Thanks!
Lisa
