I like to take fresh veggies or frozen, lay them on aluminum foil, drizzle in olive oil, mix them around. Then I fold the aluminum in a packet around the veggies and roast them in the over. Pretty good and good for you. Plus simple. great on the grill also.

MMMMMmmmmm! Roasted veggies taste so good. Last year, our coordinator at work brought some fresh carrots, potatoes and onions from her garden and we roasted them up....they were soooo good. No dishes with your recipe which gives it a big 2 thumbs up! :)

Got this recipe from the girls at the quilting shop.

    2 bags pretels
    1 cup Orville Redenbaucher Oil
    1 package ranch dressing
    1 teaspoon of lemon powder

Pour pretzels in a large bowl. In another bowl wisk together the oil, dressing, and lemon powder. Pour over the pretzels, stir every 15 minutes for 2 hours. Store in fridge.

Regular ranch dressing without buttermilk works best.

Had all the children over today and the two grandbabies, so sweet. I barbequed spareribs, porksteaks and fixed a ton of food. Here is a recipe I use for just special occassions, its evil but ohh so good.

    Cheese Bread

    French bread loaf, sliced lengthwise

    Brush with butter.

Combine a stick of butter melted, add cheddar and mozzerella grated cheese. 2 cups or more of cheese. Then add a packet of Italian dry salad dressing to the cheese and butter. Stir well,

Put on top of bread, place under the broiler until melted and bubbly,

    Its a fav.

We cut up bell peppers and onions, sprinkle with a little seasoning salt, add a hot dog/ham/bacon/pork chop, wrap in foil and cook outside on the grill. Makes a good meal and depending on the meat you put in it can be fairly lo-cal. Now that I am trying to get some pounds off I will have to leave the meat out or make sure it is super healthy/lo-cal of my package.

Trying to figure out something easy to make with cod...
You could put that cod in a juicer and have cod liver oil to drink.

I am just teasing,. I would go to google Cod or go to foodnetwork and see what they have. Maybe just broiling it with a little lemon juice on it like they do salmon might be good,. Not sure, would have to google tha cod myself Good luck
