Hello! I'm 38, a homemaker, homeschooling mom of three! I am also a Pastor's wife. I play the piano, sing, sew, blog, read the dictionary, and love antiques. I have had Lupus almost 14 years and Fibro almost 13 years. I also suffer from Interstitial Cystitis (2 years). I probably have the most trouble with the IC. Currenty dealing with some thyroid issues-just waiting on answers.

Hello, I am nearly 49, have a son who is 28 married, and I have three grandchildren from him. I have a daughter 21, who is getting married this Dec. My youngest is a son 19, lives at home going to community college and working. I just last week celebrated 29 years of marriage. I am nurse, work part time nights at a local nursing home. I read, crochet, do word searches, like most crafts, but mostly I like to do card mkaing, stamping and scrapbooking. and spending time with the grandkids.

Medically I have fibro, had major back surgery, had a hysterectomy, and have a bone spur on my left foot. I have a sneaking feeling that I have lupus but just keep putting it off, I guess I really do not want to hear it officially.

I am currently trying very hard to loose weight. Started out third week in Nov. at 211 pounds, yesterday weight was 193 pounds. With the bone spur giving me trouble have not been able to walk like I should.

Hi, 49 years old. Diagnosed with Fibro 5 1/2 years ago. Have a husband and 2 teenage girls.
Recently started working out again. Only way I can lose weight. Had an awesome workout last night, but got on scale today and gained 1.5 lbs. Had a 6 lb loss week before, but feel great so not letting scale get me down. Thank you for this group! Gonna go look for my pedometer!!!

I am 52, married for 28 years. No children, hubby had 5, have one cat. Have fibro and arthritis. I lost my job and haven't been able to find a new one and without insurance I am trying to keep myself as healthy as possible. Lost 16 pounds since I left the job but have recently gained 3 back. I have started back on the treadmill just doing a normal walk since I live in the north and looking forward to warm weather so I can get outside. Weight yesterday was 163 and I would like to lose 23 lbs.

Some days I get up and can barely move but am making myself walk even just for a few minutes. Once I get on the treadmill with my music going it's usually smooth sailing. My body doesn't feel any worse when I get off so I am trying to keep moving.

Thanks for starting the group cause I wasn't going to get on the treadmill this morning but now I am motivated to get moving.

    Hello,

    I am 53, married for 32 years. 3 grown children - 29, 27, and 25 . I have had Fibro since January 2002.
I retired from teaching in a public High School in 2002. Now I garden and all sorts of this and that.

Since the onset of this insanity that we call Fibro, I have gained 40 pounds. I have been ssssslllllloooowwwllllyyyy dropping weight again, since I changed my medicines and eating, but Welcome this group. I believe that it will be easier to stay focused with support.

    THANKS CARE.......
