I just joined this group a few minutes ago. I SHOULD look around a bit and find out my "place" here, .. but I wanted to inform members of a terrific site. TONs of science news, .. breakthroughs etc, to include research on depression. I hope it will be encouraging and informative to the other members of the group:

I'm new to this group as well. I'm not sure if I will be able to help in any way, but I am always up to new things. For me I personally believe that I think it's our world that we all live in today that brings me into self distruction. I see that I care so much & the things that go on around me upset me. & then I'm destroying myself. Now I am more involved, & on every issue. I want to know what is going on in my town, i want to know corrective things we are doing about them. I also find that I have to be completely honest about who I am where I came from etc. My hole life is a complete open book. It all helps me from self distruction. Well I am all about change, & it's feels so good to be where I am because I have finally found my true self. Even if all I need to do for someone is just listen. Well I hope I have not offended anyone & hope to be helpful, even if it's just one person at a time. -
