So, a little icebreaker... Where is everyone from? And where is your favorite place in the world, and why?

  I'm Owshen from Salt Lake City. -No I'm not a Mormon- Nothing against them though. My favorite place is the beach. Just something about the beach makes me feel so "connected" The Mountains are the same thing.

  I am originally from New Castle, IN, but now live in Denver, CO. My favorite place in the world is Honolulu, Hawaii because of its natural beauty and friendly people.

  Hi, I'm Miriam. In 1999, I moved here (Salt Lake City, UT). Before that, I moved around alot, especially as a kid. I was born in Philadelphia, PA. Moves to include Chester and Limerick, PA and Cortland, NY. Moved back to Philly for 6th grade. Stayed until I was just past 21. Moved to Rockville, MD area. At 31, moved to Ft. Lauderdale area. Moved here at 45. Whew! You can take the girl out of the East Coast, but you'll never get the East Coast out of the girl!
  
  Lots of people come to the SLC area for outdoor activities. I HATE WINTER! I HATE MOUNTAINS! I HATE HIKING! ETC! But it's not a bad place to raise a family.
  
  Favorite place? Anywhere it's quiet, and maybe, just maybe, have my husband, Drew, with me. Three of my five kidz still live with us (all teenagers) and the 19 y.o. has a 3-month old daughter. Their room is next to ours. And 2 dogz,. Grin and bear it!

  Hi I am Erik and I live in Ladson, South Carolina but I am moving soon to Orangeburg, South Carolina. I think my favorite place is San Francisco, CA were I lived for a few years in the early 1990's.
