Today was day 2 of the trial. The kiddo had to go back on the stand and I was cross examined. Tomorrow the closing and the deliberation will start. Like I said today, it is what it is, and we told the truth to the best of our memory.
I hope that the jury will find him guilty.

Court trial against a perv

Well, today was the first day of the trial to put away the perv who violated my daughter. My daughter testified and I did and I will be cross examined tomorrow. So the rest of this week is the trial and I will be checking in and posting updates on this thread. Hugs and loves to all my friends.

I hate to read this. I am very active in a group here called Resurrection After Rape. If we can be of any aid to you, or to your daughter, I'd love to do anything I can. This is a long road she will travel. Mine began when I was 12 years old and three evil people came into my life, and into my home. My life was forever changed that day in May 1970. I am 52 now....years have pssed, but some things will go with me to my grave. I am healthy though. I am happy many days. And, many of those happy days are spent in the woods...hunting.
I am serious about any help I can offer to your daughter. I am a nurse, and a mother, and a grandmother. I am a survivor of rape...no longer a victim. I am glad she has you to walk through this with her, and I know it is painful for you too. My life's goal is to be helpful to anyone who has been hurt in this way...please consider my offer...anytime.
