Hello to everyone. I was wondering if i could get some advice. I was diagnosed with PID when i was 25 and told that i would never have children. [ I am now 44 and adopted a son 9 years ago] I was put on a course of antibiotics and that was that.
About seven years ago I started suffering with severe pain in my stomach and back passage. The pain during menstruation was really bad [ always been that way but getting worse]. My moods were shocking. I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue. The pain was becoming unbearable and i was finally sent to a gyno about eight months ago. He put me on HRT which did nothing. I then had a laparoscopy and insertion of a mirena. The surgeon said that my uterus was stuck to the walls of my pelvis and I had fibroids [one large].
The mirena didnt help and I finally had a hysterectomy seven weeks ago. My gyno said they found another large fibroid protruding from my uterus and to my horror my uterus was covered in endometriosis.
My gyno reassured me that my problems would be over because my uterus and therefore the endo was gone. I was feeling better than I had in a long time [only hyst recovery pain and tiredness] up until 6 days ago.
I couldnt believe it, the pain was back along with constipation, diarrea, bladder pain, bladder urgency, nausea, moodiness and exhaustion.
I feel like Im going crazy and Im so disapointed. Is this possible? Could they have missed something?
If I go back to the gyno is he going to think its in my head?
im just so tired of all this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
