Lillian Joyce has arrived.

Posted on 10/25/08, 07:28 pm
Lillian Joyce arrived 8:30 P.M. Sunday Oct. 19 and weighed in at 8 lbs. 3 oz. 22 inches long. After twelve hours of labor the decision was made to take her via C-section. When I went in Sunday morning they found that I had developed Toxemia. To counter the high blood pressure, they put me on Magnesium Sulfate which slowed my labor down and lessened my contractions to a point that the baby would not descend. We are home now and doing well. Although I would not have chosen the C-section, I'm glad she is here safely and I am recovering quickly. Congratulations to all those who have had their babies and good luck to the rest to come.
