Colten Matthew is here!!

Hi all,
Colten Matthew arrived on Oct 8th 2008 after 36 hrs of labor!!! He is so cute!! He weighed 8 lbs 12 ozs, much bigger then expected. I had a postpartum hemmorage afterwards and things were very touch and go for a couple hrs after birth but I doing better now. I lost a lot of blood and ended up being in the hospital 5 days total from when I came in. We are home now trying to get into the groove of things. Breastfeeding is not going well little one doesn't want to latch on correctly so that has been the frustrating part of things. We are working on it and I have an appt with a lactation specialist on Weds so hopefully we will do better. Hope to get some pictures up soon!!

  Wow what a scary and happy time for you! Glad all turned out well in the end. And what a big boy too!! Congrats and good luck with the breast feeding. I am sure it will get easier for the both of you. It was hard for my first to figure it out but once he did he would latch on like a pro. Let us know when you get your pics up!
