Risks are worth taking

To Laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To place your ideas and dreams before the crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To hope is to risk disappointment.
But risks must be taken because the greatest risk in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing, sees nothing, has nothing, and is nothing.
They cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, and live.

What kind of life is that?!

Well put! How does one move forward in any aspect of life if risks are not taken? Very very slowly I suppose (smiles). To take risks is to be in control of yourself and your own life.
