CRIME!

Today's world is really getting worse. I don't understand the people who feel they can rob/kill/rape others. Why is it that people always want what they can't have? Why is it that our kids aren't safe today?
I heard oneday on my local news channel that this young guy about 23 or so say that he couldn't get a job. First allow me to say that he was talking to the reporter as if he was "HOOD". I am familiar with most slang but I couldn't understand what he was saying. Sounds funny but it's sad. He showed he had no education. I was really hoping that he didn't go into the place of business looking like he did on TV. I was disgusted and ashamed. First allow me to say that he couldn't get the oldest qoute in the book right. He said "my mom be on me like rice on white". How sad is that. Yes it could have been an honest mistake. But if you would have heard how he was speaking he really thought he had said something.
So the rest of this story goes on to say how he has to watch his back because of rival neighborhood guys. Well if he had his lil behind in a job training program he wouldn't have to be on the look out for anyone. But he was sitting there on a vacant bldg. front steps hair not combed and speaking very ignorant. Why am I mad. Well when I know there are people who want to get into job training , but can't because their income says one thing they are exempt from such programs. The people that the programs are for won't take advantage so your tax dollars go to waste.. I feel that the programs should be open to anyone who needs job training. And this guy needed to be somewhere learning how to speak!
I don't care to hear a male speaking with such ignorance or having his pants down to his knees showing all his business. It's not cute.
But here in St. Louis people feel everyone owes them something. No one owes you or anybody else anything. I help when I can help. And I don't feel guilty. I used to make sandwhichs for the homeless at my home and take it to them, they have the nerve to be picky.
The drug dealers need to get almost the same punishment as murders. Just my views. Well they are killing our families, & friends. So why not? Car thieves are the same. Either they are stealing to feed a drug habit or they want something they haven't worked for just to joyride. Why would my rewards deemed by GOD be someone else's reward? No my truck wasn't stolen but the idea of...... So what's your beef about crime in your area?
