I am sooo bad. How bad am I ? I make pumpkin pie year round !! I have Xmas lights on outdoor trees because it is PRETTY !...year round.
Don't even get me started on St. Patrick's Day or Easter Baskets ! LOL

Halloween anyone?

No secret that I am not American...however what may be a surprise is that I am not big on Halloween. Not that I don't think it's fun and all...but I feel so stoopid doing the trick or treat thingie as this gene bypassed me during my childhood.
Truth be known, I'm not big on any celebrations/holidays etc and perhaps that isn't socially friendly and all...I just find my eyes glassing over at the thought of decorations. Feels like I'm putting on a production of whatever the holiday may be and I just can't do it. Am I alone?

Marie, yet again we agree! I have Christmas lights strung along my fence in the backyard...perfect light for outdoor bbq's ...back in the day when it wasn't so cold...like 3 weeks ago. I just can't stand the commercialism and decorations and ridiculous storage required to throw on these holiday events...it's nuts to me!
Recently a friend threatened to put a huge inflatable Santa in my front yard. I'd hate to be up on murder charges stabbing it to death. -

It'd be kewl with Helium ! Those things are great in the pond. We used to see how long someone could float on one of those before falling off ! Dang ! Pretty irreverant of me. -

Double Bah Humbug!! I also hate to shop so you can imagine how much I love Christmas. Love the idea behind it. HATE the commercial side. Halloween is depressing, no matter how much the merchants try to play it up. I mean how happy can you get looking at black cats, witches and scarecrows?
