Happy Labor Day Weekend!

To all those that labor away...cheers to you and take Monday off. From everything. Wouldn't that be nice?

Anyone have plans this weekend that we can all be jealous of? I'm actually working on Monday...it is the one real day I can get things done without everyone bugging me. But, I'm going to try to squeeze in some down time today and tomorrow.

  Well, that makes three of us working all weekend. At least I can take my dog with me - So Trevor and I are packing a picnic lunch to share during lunch hour.

  Plans! You must be kidding, everything is so expensive at this time, it's impossible to go out of town. Hubby did take me out to dinner at Cracker Barrell and a long ride in the country to "deer hunt" as he calls it. We're thinking of a picnic tomorrow, so life is good!

  They have a two day festival of food and music in our city each Labor Day weekend. I took a break last night and went there to see a band that a guy I dated in highschool used to be in. I found out he's still in it and it was totally embarassing. I'm old, but I'm not trying to fit into my clothes from the 70's. He waved at me from the stage like I was a groupie and I just had to laugh out loud. Then slithered off. Ahahahaaaaa.....leather pants were so cool back then, but so not cool today. I think they were the same pair. Ewwwww!
  
  Ah well, looked like they were having fun so more power to them.
  
  I'm off to an Apple Orchard that makes fresh pies each morning to grab a few for my Dad and his nurses. They have huge homemade caramel apples too...my diet is doomed. Maybe I can make it up by riding my bike there. Fat chance... of that happening... :)
