No good work comes from unrest. Unrest, fears, anger, or sadness may motivate us. These feelings are sometimes intended to compel action. But our best work emerges after these feelings have been replaced by peace. We will not accomplish our task any sooner, or any better, by performing it out of a sense of urgency, fear, anger or sadness.
Let go of unrest. Let peace fill the void. We do not have the forfeit our power, our personal power - or our peace - to do the work as we are called upon to do today. We will be given all the power we need to do what we are meant to do, when it is time. Let peace come first. Then proceed. The task will get done, naturally and on time.
Today, I will get peaceful first, and let my work and life emerge that base.

"Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life."
Mary Manin Morrissey
"All our progress is an unfolding, like a vegetable bud. You have first an instinct, then an opinion, then a knowledge as the plant has root, bud, and fruit. Trust the instinct to the end, though you can render no reason."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
If someone listens, or stretches out a hand, or whispers a kind word of encouragement, or attempts to understand a lonely person, extraordinary things begin to happen.
Loretta Girzatlis
"Homogeneity makes for healthy milk but anemic friendships. We need relationships that cross culturally imposed lines to enlarge our hearts and expand our vistas."
Dan Schmidt
"Forgiveness is the demonstration that you are the light of the world. Through your forgiveness does the truth about your self return to your memory."

Most people treat the present moment as if it were an obstacle that they need to overcome. Since the present moment is Life itself, it is an insane way to live.
Eckhart Tolle
It is simple. We are where we should be, doing what we should be doing. Otherwise we would be somewhere else, doing something else.
Richard Stein
Life can only take place in the present moment. If we lose the present moment, we lose life.
