We cannot experience all of what's possible if we have unresolved issues with others. We cannot truly rejoice in the expression and the experience of God's love for us and receive that fully if our hearts are closed to even one person. As we forgive where there is pain or bitterness in our lives, we open our selves to an experience of true celebration.
Mary Manin Morrissey
It doesn't matter what spiritual practice you do as long as it takes you into your heart and helps you connect with the Source of Love. If it does that, then stay with it throughout all the twists and turns of your life. Hold to your practice. It is your lifeline. When storms come up unexpectedly, it keeps you afloat. Ever so gradually, it brings you home.
Paul Ferrini
People have a hard time letting go of their suffering. Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar.

Soon the child's clear eye is clouded over by ideas and opinions, preconceptions and abstractions. Simple free being becomes encrusted with the burdensome armor of the ego. Not until years later does an instinct come that a vital sense of mystery has been withdrawn. The sun glints through the pines, and the heart is pierced in a moment of beauty and strange pain, like a memory of paradise. After that day we become seekers. ~ Peter Mathiessen
"Every longing and yearning that you have ever had, every secret desire of your soul, every constructive ambition you have ever had, is a whispering of this Life assuring you that you are one with It." ~ Ernest Holmes
To stay young requires unceasing cultivation of the ability to unlearn old falsehoods. ~ Robert A. Heinlein
