  As time is growing closer to Fathers Day, I've decided to invite everyone to a Fathers Day Party on Sunday. I hope you all will come. You'll need to bring your own snacks and its BYOB. Its going to be here, on DS. Its a party to celebrate and be filled with pride because we had the best dads ever and this is the day given to them to honor them. I've decided I don't want to have a pain filled Fathers Day. This is the real day we can scream out loud how great our Dads were and no one will look at us funny. I know we're all filled with alot of sadness still, but I invite you to put the sadness away for 1 day and feel joy. Joy because our Dads loved us and we loved them. Pride because we are our Dads daughters, they live in us. Love because we have memories of our lifetime with him, a lifetime of love. I'm not saying you need to get rid of your sadness, I'm just inviting you to put it on the back burner for a day. Lets all get a latex helium filled balloon and let it go at noon. We can all scream out "I was lucky to have the best dad ever". Celebrate your Dads. Try not to have a day filled with pain. I'll be checking in around 11:30am to see who came.   I know i HATE all these ads too, they break my heart. I agree with missdad avoid the card section like the plague..:) I am still working on my Dogwood I planted after his death in April, but I think it is dying in the Texas heat. Help...any suggestions ??? Big hugs to all...I love this group.
