finding out a new friend has cut

I just found out that a friend of mine just cut herself and i am worried for her. To me it feels like a long chain that keeps growing and growing cause it was me first, then my best friend, and now another friend.... i want to help them sooo much but i don't know what to do. I feel very helpless.

I know what it's like. I started cutting in 8th grade. then a few months later a friend started to. Then in 9th another two friends started to and one tried it once and then in 10th my other friend cut herself over a guy. I am now going into my senior year of high school and I still cut sometimes and it is quite a bit harder because the only five girl friends that I have have all cut at one point and three of them cut regularly (none of them have gotten as severe as me, thank god)
