Interesting hypothesis. Thank you for posting.
My hubby has MS, I was dx with severe UC this year but had an arthritis issue about 8-9 years ago that roamed through my body. The Docs said it my antibodies were collecting in my joints and in 9 months would subside and did. Interesting.

There is a small chance that I actually have Bechets disease which would explain my UC and MS symptoms as well as other odd symptoms I have. It might be a long shot but I have always suspected that I have one auto-immune condition affecting multiple systems rather than multiple auto-immune conditions.
Has anyone ever heard of someone originally diagnosed with inflammatory bowel condition later being diagnosed with Bechets?
Basically its related to arthritis but it attacks the blood vessels, and any system that has blood vessels running through it. It can mimic MS and Colitis but can also lead to stroke.
I hope thats not what I have, but I worry that it fits....trying not to be a hypochondriac. Sometimes its hard not to be when you have such a complicated case and the doctors cant fix you.

The only thing that makes me think that maybe it isnt is the fact that I have lesions in my cervical spine where in Bechets that is more rare and more common to have them in the brain stem or eyes.
I have an appointment with the Rhumatologist next week.
