The feng shui five elements theory

Here is the color of each of the five feng shui elements:

* WOOD: Green, Brown
* FIRE: Red, Strong Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink
* EARTH: Light Yellow. Sandy/Earthy, Light Brown
* METAL: White, Gray
* WATER: Blue, Black

Color Green is excellent for improving health and balancing family life when used in the East feng shui area of your home.

    Feng Shui says that each of us generates a type of Chi called 'jung' Chi, which not only radiates from us but also forms a pulsating energy field that encircles and surrounds our bodies.

    Proper and intentional breathing can offer vitality and renewed life into this sort of Chi to adjust and elongate its movement through our physical meridians. Stand and place your feet shoulder width apart and turn your toes very slightly inward. Imagine a line running from the outside of your left toe all the way up to the tip of your right shoulder. Now do the same with your right foot and left shoulder. The triangles made by these two intersecting lines will meet at the crossing of the X in your lower abdomen. Take three deep breathes into the center of the X. Breathe deeply in through the nose and out through the mouth. Although this might not seem Herculean, you simply won't believe how quickly is supports and strengthens your Chi!

    Three rosemary plants potted inside your kitchen, preferably on a window ledge, are believed to bring financial freedom.

    When this herb is burned it emits one of Mother Nature's most powerful cleaning and purifying vibrations. It can purge a place of negativity.

    When put beneath a pillow it's said to ensure a good night's sleep while also banishing nightmares. Placed with intention under a bed it encourages protective forces that keep you safe and sound. Which might be why some lore surrounding rosemary says that you should hang some over the entryway door in order to keep burglars and robbers away and to also keep you hale and hearty. Added to your bath it preserves youthfulness, and when used to flavor foods it attracts love, health and healing. Less salt indeed. Pass the rosemary!
