Do you all know?

Does anyone here know the difference between regular diced canned (canned by hand at home) and "italian style" diced tomatoes from the store? I have a recipe that I want to try that calls for italian style diced tomatoes.

forgive me if this answer is elementary, OK? but I thought the only difference was that they added Italian style seasonings? I think I recall looking on the can and it just had added herbs in it...
