Seems all I've been doing lately is reading and looking for support groups! I've had daily headaches for 26 yrs with Migraines thrown in. They are "hand me downs" from both sides of my family. I'm not sure the medical term for them, they were explained for me as 'birthmarks (6 of them) on my brain that I was born with. None caused by stress, lights, what I eat etc, although I've tried to watch what I eat and drink just to 'see' I too like many of you LIVE on excederin which as we know is bad for our livers and kidneys which I have checked. Recently I was diagnosed with Menieres Disease which just adds to the problem (equilibrium is thrown off, dizzy, unstable etc) so now I have to deal with that and have been for 4 yrs which limits alot of my activity and the caffeine in the excederin doesn't help. Chasing my own tail... I do take Imitrex for my Migraines my Neurologist calls in 100 mg's for me so I can break them in 1/2 and have twice the amt which helps. Besides the Imitrex I take Nortriptyline and Zonisamide, supposedly if you take an anti-depressent and a seizure medicine but Don't HAVE seizures and aren't depressed these 2 mixed together are suppose to help with Migraines/ headaches. I did try to stop taking them, the next week it was great not 1 headache, the next week without them my daily headaches were twice as bad so I guess they do something. Happy I found this site, sorry to ramble on. People are amazed that I've never gotten up in the morning without a headache, I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I am glad you found this site. It is very helpful! I have also been dealing with these headaches/migraines for nearly all my life. There are lots of treatments and therapies out there. Physical Therapy can be helpful for both the headaches and Meniere's. PT can make a difference for some people. I hope you find relief soon. -

It's possible there's PT for headaches although I've never heard of it nor has my dr. suggested any (not that it surprises me) there is none for MM although excercise is a good thing. Our support group for MM is huge, there are alot of us who can't even excercise. We get too dizzy. Thanks though I'll look into the PT for headaches maybe there's something I'd be able to do.
