My son has the migrains. He's 14 been having them since he was three. It hurts me to see him so sick. Is there a chance he'll grow out of this?

My daddy said he had a headache everyday of his life until he was 21, then they went away. I personally didnt start having mine until I was 19 and then Ive had them since then. There are so many factors and so many triggers that I think it depends on the person. Alot of it is heriditary.I would suggest getting him to a headache specialist as my daughter has them like me and my doctor said the quicker she is treated (meaning with prevenative meds) the better. I'm sorry to hear that. No I don't know if they do or not I just found out recently my great-niece started already and she's only 7. None of us in our family have grown out of them but we didn't start till we were in our 20's. -

PLEASE TAKE HIM TO A SPECIALIST THAT DEALS WITH CHRONIC HEADACHES. I USED A HEADACHE DOCTOR FOR 15 YEARS THAT MADE ME FEEL IT WAS ALL MY FAULT EVEN THROUGH I NEED EVERYTHING SHE TOLD ME TOO. I FINALLY WAS REFERRED TO THE DALLAS HEADACHE CLINIC - THEY ONLY DEAL WITH VERY DIFFICULT CASES OF CHRONIC DAILY HEADACHES. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO HELP HIM. READ MY JOURNAL ENTRIES FOR MORE INFO. HOPE HE GETS BETTER.
