We celebrate the wonderful resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ at Easter time!

Yes, He suffered a terrible death on the cross.  He went willingly there, to take the penalty for our sins.  Jesus IS God, perfect in every way..He didn't have to suffer on that cross, but He did because of His great love for all of us.  He became the perfect sacrificial lamb..He is the Lamb of God..who took away our sins...

He came back to life!  He is living today!  He's coming back again some day..we don't know when, but we believe the promise of His return is real, and it WILL happen! 

Look heavenward dear fellow Christ followers..He will keep His promises..all of them!

JOHN chp 3 verse 16:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes n him shall not perish but have eternal life."  (New International Version)

Dear friends, brothers and sisters in Christ:

Many of you have been praying for our Kristieblue, our former founder.  We will miss her very much, but she is not able to do this work at this point in time, due to unforseen circumstances.

She has asked me to take over the role as founder of this Christian Fellowship forum.    With some initial fear and  trepidation and a lot of prayer time with God, I accepted this new role at least for the next little while. 

The forum will not change much, so you won't notice too many changes at all.

Please feel free to message me anytime you have comments or concerns and I will do my best to help you and guide you as needed. 

Thanks so much for your unwavering devotion to this Christian forum, a wonderful safe place to come and learn more about each other, the Bible and our amazing God!  We have fun together while supporting each other and we will always pray for anyone needing immediate prayers.

This is something new for me, so thanks for being patient with me as I learn the ropes of this new leadership role. 

You are all important to God and to all of us here.  Keep sharing with our group what God has purposed in your heart to share.

p.s. the "mad" part of my profile signifies the short form of my first name, (no..I am not mad..o.k. occasionally angry, but with God's help that's changing)  Really..God has been changing the sad part to sincere joy, and it refers to my initial state of emotion when joining the Daily Strength site.  I'll stick with the name for now..it's weird, but it seems to work o.k.

I hope everyone feels free to post for prayer. We need to hold one another up before the Father, and to intercede for the needs of the members. I think that a scripture verse that is relevant, can be very encouraging. I know the Bible and reading it daily has totally transformed my life, in spite of pain and suffering.  As for the discussions, the music threads, I pray that everyone will read and comment, share a favorite scripture or verse. Off topic is great. Let us know how you are doing. Anything that brings us close to Jesus, and one another, is where I would like this group to go! God bless!
