On Nov.11th @ 9PM on PBS they will be Showing a show called: The Way We Get By. It honors all our Heros and Veterans Please not only think about watching this show but Please Pray for all of them and the Job they are called to do and that they know the Lord. As a Veteran my heart go's out to all of them and as a Christian my Prayers go out for them. If You have a Min. please take a look at this site Thank You and God Bless.

Thanks for posting this info. My grandfather was a vet and one of the most patriotic people I have ever known and I respected that and was very proud of my grandfather. I was the one that would sit and listen to war story after war story when everyone else would somehow excuse themselves. I have a lot of respect for our vets and active duty as well. He is the one that instilled this value in me and I am grateful. -

Thank You IamLisa it sounds like your Grandfather was a Great Man I just wish I chould thank Him Myslef for His Service to this Country God Bless Him. They give so much and ask for so little in return I too am very greatful to all Vets. -

Cando2...they depend on us, as Christians, to lift them up in prayer...If this we do for them...we are doing the very best for them. I think we should also remember the families of our military and vets in our prayers. They, too, have and do sacrifice as well. -

Since this is a thread directed at praying for our troops/veterans/ and their families, I would like to request that everyone send their prayers for the military personnel and their families in Fort Hood, Texas today. They have gone through a terrible tragedy with 12 killed and 31 injured on their own base. May the Lord bring them comfort in this difficult time. -

Yes people take so for granted what the veterans have done for us and active military are doing. Yes I am praying for the military and veterans. Especially the veteran war victims. They suffer the most... I am so thankful God has the world in His Hands and He is about His business........ -

The enemy goes about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour... These are the times we live in. But we are not alone, who call upon the Name of Jesus Christ as our Savior- a very real spiritual battle is going on over our heads as we walk thru each day- no one is guaranteed we live into the next one! That is why people in the Military, on the front lines, are cought in the cross hairs by the Enemy, and why all of us must pray for their safety as they defend us! Each day is a gift- pay it forward! :)
