I am stopping by to see how everyone is doing.  My wound finally healed in the middle of August and its hard to believe its September 2, 2009.  Fall is just around the corner.

We need to pray for your nation and our nations leaders around the country.  We live in trying times but God is faithful!  We put our hope in HIM, creator of the universe. NOTHING Is Impossible with God to those that believe. If you listen to the news long enough you will get depressed, stressed and feel like a mess but I say to you today don't put your trust in man but in God.  

Be Blessed, Don't Be Stressed and Let God do the Rest!

I don't get here as often as I like and I just want to give you all praise for keeping this group going.

You are the best!

I have had a complication to my healing process.  The donor site when the stitches were removed open up and is the size of an egg and now 1/8" deep.  Today its 3 weeks and the donor site is still open and raw.  Very frustrating as I am allergic to hypoallergenic tape.  Go figure!  I see my surgeon today.  I am going to our general convention and pack all my stuff.  I am just healing slowly and this is a test!  

My doctor had a family emergency and my surgery was postponed from April 30th to May 13th today. I went in at 11:10 and out at 12:05 just used novocaine on my leg and midriff for the skin graft. The cancer that was removed has been sent off for a pathology report. I have to keep the leg wrapped for a week and I see the doctor on the 20th for a followup visit. I can not get it wet but I can get the graft wet, the doctor took the graft near my scar from my gall bladder surgery from 1989 stitched in the same place so no extra scar. My foot is now waking up! Woo Hoo!

There has been much going on here. My brother had major surgery on April 28th and he was in critical condition for over a week. He is a miracle, still in the hospital but has improved in miracle form with prayers from all around the world. It was good that my surgery was postponed because we went to Delaware to see him for two days. He is tentatively going home to my daughter Terr's to recuperate this weekend.
