This is a tough one. Those stories are very shocking, and it reaffirms in my mind that satan is for real. he had to have his hand in it somehow.
For most of us, we just need to keep doing the right things in our everyday mundane tasks and be a light to the world.. no matter how small it may seem. God can take our seemingly small deeds and multiply it as He did with five loaves of bread and basket of fish. And keep praying... praying is the best thing we can do.. not the only or the last thing.

Good Samaritans

Lately,
I keep hearing about these horrible incidents such as
the 'Gang Rape' of a 15 yr old girl in Ca,
and the beating death of a 15 boy, right here in the U.S.
My question is 'What's happened to Good Samaritans"?
As a PROUD Christian I don't understand how anybody
can watch a crime and do nothing but record it on their Cell Phone.
In many cases they don't even call the Authorities.
As a society what should be done?
Besides prayer, as 'Christians' what should we do?

I AGREE WITH YKK.
PRAYER IS ALL WE CAN DO . SOMETIME SOME WE CHRISTIANS ARE AFRAID KEEP OUT OF TROUBLE . BUT, I REALLY DO NOT KNOW, I F I CAN DO TO STOP HURT EACH OTHER BUT THROUGH GOD GRACE I PROBABLY CALL FOR HELP FIRST. I CANNOT ANSWER THAT I NEVER HAD AN EXPERIENCES YET?
WE DO LIVE UPSIDE WORLD. SO MANY EVIL, TROUBLES AND THEY ARE THE ONES ARE NEVER WILL EVER HAPPY. HOW SAD IT IS TO SEE THESE PEOPLE ARE HURTING SO BAD THE SATAN REALLY GET THE HOLD OF THEM TRY TO DESTROY THEIR OWN LIVES AND TRY HURT SOMEONE ELSE OUT THERE ANGER IN THEM.
THEY ALL NEED JESUS THE MESSIAH WILL GIVE THEM LOVE , JOY AND PEACE IN THEM. THE TRUTH WILL SET THEM FREE WHEN THEY HEAR GOD WORDS OR THE HOLY SCRIPTURE FROM THE HOLY BIBLE SAYS ABOUT THEM.
PLEASE ....LETS ALL PRAY TOGETHER.
ESPECIALLY HERE IN THE UNITED STATE OF AMERICA SOLDIERS WERE KILLED IN TEXAS COUPLE DAYS AGO. IT IS GOING TOO FAR.
WE ARE AND MUST TAKE SERIOUS PRAYER.CRY OUT TO GOD FOR AMERICAN PEOPLE NO MATTER WHERE WE LIVE.
IS IS OUR WAKE UP CALL !!!! -

You are so right it is so sad! What it does tell us is about our heart in these last days. 2 Timothy 3 1-4 tells us in the last days things will be difficult for men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. So this confirms that we are in those days before the coming of the Son of Man. We are not without a hope! May God touch peoples hearts, and may God have mercy on us as a people and a Nation! -

Alot of people are afraid to get involved today out of fear . They run the risk of the perpetrator or their friends coming after them so they just stay out of it when acts of violence are being done.
I have been a person to act when someone or something is wrong or in need. I don't hesitate to call 911 when someone is being beaten, or cars are being broken into or there are suspecious happenings going on. I am not blowing my own horn beleive me, maybe its ignorance on my part. I don't worry about me cause I know God is with me always. This is a very good question and I'm glad it was brought up. I pray an act at the same time and you have shown me a differant side to this. I will ask God to show me what I should do . God Bless! -

I too have heard of stories where people just either walk away without so much as doing anything such as calling 911, or just gazed as the situation was going on. That's just horrible.
I believe people's hearts are not only hardening, but to the point of no return. The Bible predicts how our society supposed to be at these times. So, the comfort in knowing what's happening is that Christ will return soon and that these people are fulfilling prophesy written 2,000 years ago.
As Christians, we really need to be engaged and first pray about how to go about that. Keep in mind, people are going to hell if they don't accept Christ as savior and lovingly show them how God loves them and if ever in a situation like that, where you see somebody getting hurt and nobody doing anything about it, take the initiative and call for 911.
Like you, I can't for the life of me understand why somebody would allow a crime to take place and then just watch it like as if they're watching a movie for free.
