appointments we can not cancel

Our speaker today is Oldbiker.
Hebrews 9:27
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."
How many of us have canceled appointments?
We make Dentist appointments
We make legal appointments
We make social appointments
We make business appointments
We make teacher appointments
We make Doctor appointments
Some people make appointments and know they won't keep them. Some people make appointments and, are always late.
Believe it or not, God believes in an makes appointments too. There are three I would like to mention today.
1. Our appointment with God in Death:
We don't like to think about this one, do we? We maintain our health as long as we can to try and postpone this appointment. Great wealth-assets won't excuse you from this appointment. Rockefeller, Ford Bill Gates, Donald Trump, all will or have made this appointment.
Being a figure head, Priest, Pope or Preacher will not enable you to skip this appointment. Abraham-a friend of God; David-a man after God's own heart; Solomon-world's wisest man; the 12 Apostles-Christ's chosen men have all died and kept this appointment.
Great Leadership or Political Power won't cancel it. George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, John Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and others have all gone out into Eternity through this door called death.
Hospital room dying of disease; Nursing Home dying of old age; Home accident; Car Crash; Bomb; Wherever and however it happens, you too will meet God at Death's Appointment.
2. Our Appointment with God in Judgment:
Look at the last half of our text. Man just doesn't go off into oblivion or outer space somewhere. You will stand before the God of these scriptures and give an account of the life you have lived.
There are 2 basic Judgments of mankind.
- The Judgment seat of Christ where we as Christians will give an account of our actions and what we have done with the opportunities God has given us to serve Him.
- The Great white Throne Judgment, where the Lost will be judged. These will be the lost of the ages from Cain to the end of History as we know it.
3. Our Appointment with God at Calvary:
The most important appointment God has made with man is at Calvary.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
This is where God appointed us a time and place to meet with Him in order that we can be to meet Him in Death and in the Judgment, without fear of being rejected or lost. At Calvary, Christ became sin for us who knew no sin, that we might me made righteous of God in Him. At Calvary, we learn the Divine worth of a soul. Jesus met and paid the penalty for our sin. We can accept Christ's atonement for us. Jesus died as a sinner for us that we might be able to live in the presence of God, as if we had never sinned. We are justified by Jesus.
If you come to Calvary by Faith, accept Jesus as your personal Savior, you will be prepared not only for the other two appointments but, you will also be prepared to live an abundant life now, today and forever.

When the call comes, all, highest to lowest, living or dead, WILL answer. Before the morning stars sang together, this was already accomplished.

For a lot of us going out to church is not an option. I felt led to set up a place of worship more personal than TV evangelists who we're not able to communicate with one on one. I have preached before, so why not here where others could actually connect with the speaker and each other. Each week I will give a message from the Bible for anyone who misses being able to go to church. Welcome one and all!
