GROUPS GUIDELINES read 1st!

Welcome!
After missing several Sundays going to my church (because of pain) I got lonely for my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I felt led to start a church online and with the help of a friend, (I had no idea how to create a room) I made this room (the sanctuary) first. The sanctuary is called Christian Church 24/7 Ministry. In the comment section we have other rooms of the church (including the links and their descriptions), each has different purposes. We encourage you to join them all to get the full experience of the church.
The first room I created is this sanctuary. It is different than most rooms/groups on DS. After visiting some of the other Christian groups here on DS and having to search through all the other posts to find the message, I decided that the sanctuary would be for the weekly messages only so those who come to it could quickly access the messages. I request that others coming in this room feel free to comment to any message they want to, but to let the messages be the only posts in the room and to not add any new posts please.
I have met some of the greatest people here and except for being face to face it is very much like a real church! We are glad you chose to visit with us and if you like what you see, please join us!

We have a fellowship group for just having fun or sharing burdens and encourage everyone to post here. We have this awesome ongoing potluck dinner that we just keep adding on to it (smile)! We have lots of other things going on in there too!

As a sister of a missionary and mother of a missionary, my heart was lead to create a Missionary group. We have PenguinPeru who is a missionary and guest speaker in the sanctuary leading this group:

We have a Christian Beginners group as well for those who are new to the faith. This group is for NEW CHRISTIANS ONLY to get questions answered about topics related to being a Christian. This room is for beginners in the faith only because when someone first becomes a member of the family of God it is natural to have lots of questions. I created this room to get those questions answered. To avoid confusion from different doctrines I will be answering the questions myself.
This group was designed for beginners in the faith to post questions. It was not designed for any other type posts, no matter how good they might be. We have other rooms in the church for every other type posts. I want this room reserved only for those who are new to the family of God to give the feel of comfort to ask anything without fear of ridicule. SEASONED CHRISTIANS PLEASE HAVE ENOUGH COMPASSION AND RESPECT NOT TO JOIN THIS GROUP PLEASE!

For a lot of us going out to church is not an option. I felt led to set up a place of worship more personal than TV evangelists who we're not able to communicate with one on one. I have preached before, so why not here where others could actually connect with the speaker and each other. Each week I will give a message from the Bible for anyone who misses being able to go to church. Welcome one and all!
