The other was a bit of a mouthful. I do realise simply posting news is not enough. I will try to bring my own personal view on the most logical solutions to the problems we face and I would love if people did the same.

The only real idea I support right now is the Venus Project - I see nearly all problems in society stemming from the following things:

The maliable characteristics of human beings:

Our ability to develop positive or abhorrent behaviour - normally developed and stimulated by our environment.

Scarcity:

The illusion of scarcity makes people need to compete and fight for survival. 

The monetary system:

Infinately pervasive, it has penetrated ALL aspects of life, GLOBALLY. The profit motive gets people killed, causes corruption and destroys trust and respect between fellow human beings.

Culture:

Various irrational traditions in thought, psychology and interaction have penetrated our culture. For instance being 'wrong' is something to be feared - and for others something to ridicule or gloat over. A lot of what we think we know we base on a religious style 'belief' for instance the climate change issue, instead of applying logic or science, we argue between ourselves if we 'believe' it to be true. 

While my posts may well be biased they are shamelessly biased. I go at most things from the angle of where did this problem come from, what's the source? and it's usually the corruption of profit motive. I really do intend to maintain this group and hopefuly people will want to join the movement instead of simply discussing things.
