Kylie update! Kylie is doing great! Her weight is up to 8 pounds 5 ounces and she is bottle feeding just about every feed. Should be able to ditch that NG feeding tube soon. Had a cardiac echo yesterday and the cardiologist said that he was "very pleased and pleasantly surprised" by the results. The shunt is good, her O2 sats are good, much better than expected.
And she has learned a new trick, she has learned how to smile. A great big old goofy grin that would melt anybody's heart.
Our goals right now are to get her strong and as healthy as we can before her next surgery. That should be April or May.
Thank you so much for caring about my family. Love ya diane

I am soooo happy for you...don't know if you remember me but I have a grandaughter named Kylie and your story just went right to my heart..She is sooo beautiful and so is mine so they will be strong together..My kylie is 5 and I showed her your kylie and she asked what was wrong and I tried to explain as best you could to a 5 yr old and she said she was sad and would say a prayer for her....out of the mouths of babes
