I am new to this group

I am a kidney cancer survivor. I had surgery a year ago for kidney cancer. I had part for my right kidney removed and have not had to have any other tretment other than follow up CT scans, blood work, Chest xrays, and doctor visits this last year. Every thing is looking good. All of my mothers relatives including her died of different cancers so I am trying to be as proactive as I can be with reading all the info I can get and following a good diet and trying to exercise. I do have to lose some weight but I don't smoke. I am glad to have found this group.
