Thank you for posting, your project sound so so wonderful, I do hope it all goes to plan. Sorry Ive not replied earlier, ive been staying away from ED forums for a while as even though i dont find them triggering, they keep me in the mindset of ED and discourage me to seek a normally life away from ED folks.

The EDART Project- CALLING ALL ARTISTS!

PLEASE READ!
I have a good friend who lives in the UK (I live in the US), and we are publishing a book together that showcases different ED artwork (like, art therapy, for some of you who have been in treatment) of folks internationally. We'll also be publishing ED poetry/prose, as well.
Basically, this is how it works: the book has five sections-
+Foreward: Written by my friend and me, containing resources for the UK and US, respectively.
+Chapter One: The experience of struggling with an ED.
+Chapter Two: Images/Personifications of Anorexia and Bulimia (or the Binge Monster).
+Chapter Three: Inspiration for Recovery.
+Chapter Four: Recovered and Free.
So why am I telling you all about this?
I'd love your art submissions! I know a lot of you are very creative (a few spring to mind instantly), and having your experiences out there on paper for others to relate to, I believe, would help promote awareness and understanding. Also, most likely, a portion of our profits (if any) would go to ED treatment scholarships (I'm thinking Manna fund, for example), NEDA (US), and/or BEAT (UK).
All you need to do to get the details is:

(You could always send me a message here, as well, and ask for further information if you are uncomfortable at the moment with emailing me. However, I will, in the future, need your email to be in contact with you.)
