yeah I was going to say easy bake oven, that rox! we'd mostly play card games, also battleship, sorry, risk, life, clue, and twister :) we still like to have games nights. I would have liked to have a barbie, but all I got was Skipper!

I loved Barbie the most. I had the Easy Bake Oven, too, and Strawberry Shortcake everything. Matchbox cars were big. I had those cling-ons, too - I had story boards with cling-on pieces and you could stick the pieces wherever you wanted on the scene(s). I had a few Cabbage Patch dolls.

we had barbies, barbie, midge, skipper, ken. skipper was my favorite and she had a friend i forget her name. also heidi dolls and heidi's japanese friend jan. lol.
we had dawn dolls anyone remember them? dawn, dale and gloria, very "hip"
we had collectable dolls from fao schwarz from all the different countries.
we had flatsy dolls, "she's flat and that's that" they would bend just like the gumby ones...we had trolls...and baby tenderlove skin so soft thing. my aunt collected and made cabbage patch dolls.
we had our bicycles, easily our most important possession. my cousin had an easy bake oven and light bright...i think we also had light bright but not sure. anything in need of electricity usually got disgarded fast because we were outside so much. we had sport equipment - a lot of that. i think everyone did.

i was in the disney club so we had records and tapes that followed along to the story. those were great and used a lot.

clue was my favorite game, but we had allll of those. i generally wanted that for christmas. a lot of board games. battleship, sorry, mousetrap, operation, scrabble, jeopardy, payday, monopoly, life. then albums became the thing and i wanted albums all the time...then it was jewelery...

loved easy bake oven too! it was like a dream seeing it under the christmas tree. I still remember how good that brownie cake tasted. I LOVED STRETCH ARMSTRONG...he freaked me out. My brother had one and I was so curious what was inside of him that one day I cut him open. It was green goo people......

I remember the troll dolls, those were huge for a while. I never heard of heidi or dawn or flatsy! I inherited Madame alexanders that were well-loved and had a ton of home-made doll clothes and stuff. my dad wouldn't let me get albums he thought they were evil -- he was one of those but he got over it by the time I was 18 -- yup didn't buy an album until I was 18!!! wasn't allowed. I did listen to brothers stuff like led zeppelin, motley crue, scorpions, black sabbath, metallica, circle jerks, the cure, Dead Kennedys, the Original Van Halen (no sammy hagar) -- bros could do whatever, double standards! lol then I'd record albums to tapes ...
