Too Bored to come to the group?

Well I joined the Group yet noone has come on and said anything yet. Everyone must be too bored? Tom

  Hi Lucy, I was up on the computer and was going to write you last night but, laid down for a minute and fell asleep. Now I just recently woke at 12:30pm and the computer was still on and signed in to DS, Oh Well. It makes me feel somewhat useful when I'm able to help someone out. I'm getting kind of old myself and not able to do that much anymore. I'll be 64 in December and I'm on oxygen. I don't know where everybody is at from this site. For a while I thought it was only me until you responded. It has been a treat. Our own personal site. Last night The temperature went down into the 30's here. I put the heat on yesterday as I was chilly. My gas bill won't be small next month. This month it is $29.00 and that's not too bad. My brother is still here doing work around the house getting it ready for winter so I should go and help him I will write again later. God Bless, Tom

  Hi Lucy, My brother went home today. He got most of the things he wanted to get done done this trip. He will be back in about a week or so to do some more.My sister was down in Atlanta, Georgia for 4 days. Her partner is in a band and had a gig down there on Friday and Saturday so, my sister went along to get away. I missed her coming around here as she stayed home 2 days before her trip and 1 day after to rest up. She came today to take my brother home. It sure was good to see her. I hope that you are alright as you haven't been on for awhile. The Temperatures have gotten very Fall like day time 50's and nitetime 30'-40's today it rained all day.I'm glad my brother got all the leaks fixed in my kitchen roof. I hope all the business with the falling stock markets isn't affecting you. I have a little bit of money in a retirement account that has money in the stock market but, I don't know what has happened to it. I wasn't going to take any money from it until I turned 65. Well it's getting late Ill write later (((Hugs))). Tom

  DEAR TOM,I AM HAVING A BITOF TROUBLE WITH MY DOGS OSCAR,CHIUAHUA IS 10 HAS STOMACH PROBLEMS,WAS BETTER BUT YESTERDAY HE WAS RUNNING IN THE GARDEN AND SUDDENLY SCREAMED,AND HAD IS BACK PAW LIFTED I HAD TO TAKE HIM INDOOR,AND CUDDLE HIM,THE VET SAID HE HAS A TORN HIP,TODAY IS BETTER ,BUT WE HAVE TO WATCH HIM AND CARRY ,MAKE SURE HE IS NOT HURTING HIMSELF MORE,WE GAVE HIM SOME TABLETS,HE IS IMPROVING.LAST MONTH IT WAS CHARLIE,OUR 4 YEARS OLD YORKY,IT SEEMS WE ARE HAVING TOO MUCH AT THE MOMENT.I AM GLAD FOR YOU THAT EVERYTHING IS DONE AND YOU ARE READY FOR WINTER ,THANK ''GOD''FOR YOUR KIND BROTHER AND SISTER,THEY ARE A BLESSING TO YOU,AND THAT WHAT MATTERS,LOVING ONE ANOTHER.HERE WE ARE HAVING SUCH SUNNY DAYS ,IT IS WONDERFUL,SUCH GOOD WEATHER BEFORE WINTER.WELL I HAVE BEEN WONDERING WERE ALL OTHER MEMBERS ARE GONE,THEY SEEM TO HAVE DESERTED,WELL I AM HERE AND I LIKE TO HAVE YOU AS FRIEND.TOM IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF YOU GETTING BETTER? such shame you are still young.LOTS OF LOVE ,LUCY..

  Dear Lucy, What terrible news about your Chihuahua, Oscar. Did the Vet say how bad it was and how long for him to recover? What happened to Charlie? I can't have any pet's as I get too attached to them and if something happens to them I'm just a wreck. I had a Miniature Schnauzer named T.C. but she got cancer and I had to have her put to sleep. I was beside myself for a month. I have her ashes in my bedroom and she's going to be buried with me. We didn't get the windows done yet on the house do to rain. My brother will be back in about a week or so and he will finish up. Now that my brother is gone we are having beautiful weather.. This past week I had a Cardiologist appointment, it went well. Tuesday I have an appointment with my Neurologist and also for a Pulmonary Function Test. I don't know what's happened to all the others on this group. I wonder who the CL is? There is no cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis. I'll be 64 in December. Hugs, Tom

  DEAR Tom,good to hear from you,the doggy are eating ,but their stomachs are not well,they have a bit of bad pooh,Oscar is better and walking,so glad,it was hard having to carry him,anyway they seem to be recovering.Sad about your doggy,we had 2 pts,they were sick and old age also,it is so hard ,but we had to let go,I have the ashes,in my lounge,in the boxes,they will be buried one day.Hope all goes well at the doctors,you are not old.I have bad lungs myself,I use a air purifier,would it help you,I have one in the bedroom and one in the lounge,it filters the air continually,from pollution,dust,pollen,etc.. it really helps me.Weather has now turned bad,looks like autumn,starting to rain,hope you have better weather.I lookeed up one of the group member and she is having lots of family problems,the others seem have disappeared.A big hug to you,and a wish that your window get done soon,lots of love,Lucy.

  I'm glad that Oscar is better, sorry about the bad stomachs. I don't know about an air purifier. I stay on oxygen most of the day. I have an air conditioner in my room and I have it on most of the time in the warmer weather, as long as it's above 70 degrees F. I went to my cardiologist last week and he put me on a diuretic for my swollen legs and ankles and feet. My neurologist wasn't very happy with the swollen ankles and feet either so referred me to my primary care Dr. she also adjusted some of my meds. today.My brother will probably be back next week as my sister has a cold this week and he doesn't want to get sick and neither do I. Our weather has been pretty nice this past week in the 70's during the day and at night 40-50.. Only a little to do to get me ready for winter. Well I have to get ready for bed and finish up on the computer. I'll write later. Hugs, Tom

  I TOM,the air purifier you can look it up at ''blueair'',they are made in sweden but sold all over the world.Tom I have a special machine,it would help you tostay off diuretic,had to go to Germany to buy,from the doctor that invented it,it is sold in the US,will send you web later,love Lucy..

  Hi Lucy, How will the air purifier get rid of the water buildup in my body? I don't understand. I have severely swollen left ankle and foot and swollen right ankle and foot and swollen hands. How are you today?I'm good Our weather is cooler and rainy today, supposed to be cooler the upcoming week. How are the Oscar and Charlie? My neighbor that I take shopping had to go to the hospital on Sunday so, tomorrow I have to find out what is going on with him. I got up too late Monday and today and Tuesday I was tied up all day with the Dr. My sister is still sick so, I don't think she'll be out tomorrow. Have a Great Week, Hugs. Tom

  Hi Lucy, I've sent for info on the "HiTop 184" or equivalent machine I didn't remember what machine you had suggested so I picked the top one. I told them what I wanted it for. To plz get back to me. How much was it? The only time it will be of use will be when I'm in my room as that's were I spend the most time, about 12 hours a day. I slept most of the day today as I was awake all night last night. Our weather has turned chilly. I'll talk to you later, have a Great Weekend. Hugs, Tom
