In my case I have:
1. an addictive personality
2. black and white thinking - only when I am overidden by emotions (which is 50% of the time)
3. A tendency to try to imbue others with my traits - again when I am overridden by emotions
4. Occasional self injury
5. irresponsibilty
6. problems with self identity
7. fear of abandonment
8. hypersensitivity to criticism
I think at the core of my problem is Low Self Esteem and lack of emotional regulation, the low self esteem manifests itself as depression, a sence of emptiness which is always there in the background.
I want to make it clear that this is a very personal experience of BPD and not any official list.

In my case I experience:
1. Compulsive binge eating
2. Self injury to intentionally harm myself, frequently lately
3. Self identity issues, I'm sure I have DID(aka MPD)
4. Ideation of friends, then devaluation when they don't do what I THINK they ought to
5. Chronic paranoia that those I "trust" can't be trusted and are talking about me behind my back
6. Lack of self esteem, believing that I'm hideous and that everybody agrees
7. Extreme highs, lows and a hurricane in between
8. Extreme anger just barely kept under control by my passive-aggressive nature
9. I take "constructive" criticism and personal opinion as a personal attack
I will let you know right now that everything depends on the day. If I'm having a good day, then I may only feel half this list throughout the day...if it's bad then I'll feel everything on this list and more. Everyone is different when it comes to their BPD. As my Pdoc told me the first and ONLY time I went to see her, that "every case of BPD is as individual as the person who is diagnosed with it."

Support for those suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder. Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a serious mental illness characterized by pervasive instability in moods, interpersonal relationships, self-image, and behavior. This instability often disrupts family and work life, long-term planning, and the individual's sense of self-identity. Originally thought to be at the "borderline" of psychosis, people with BPD suffer from a disorder of emotion regulation. While less well know
