Paulo Coelho

New here and not really sure how it's all done but I thought I'd start with a few recommendations of my own. :)

I recently read two books by Paulo Coelho (author of "The Alchemist", which I have yet to read) that I really enjoyed. Easy to read and thought-inspiring...maybe not my top top favourites but definately worth a recommendation! :)

"Veronika decides to die" - Grabs you from the start... About how we all need a little bit of insanity in our lives to make our journey interesting.

"By the river Piedra I sat down and wept" - Beautiful...! About faith...and love.

Now I'm going to start reading Kay Redfield Jamisons "An Unquiet Mind".

Happy reading to you all!

    Erika,
They both sounded like good books to me too. I have read the Alchemist and found it to be very inspiring. Much more than a kids book. I just finished reading a book titled "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. I was about the deep bond between twins.

I read the Alchemist and it was really a very good book. It was recommended by several friends and I was pleased with the whole meaning the book presented.
