  Well, basically there are 3 teenagers, Vanessa, Tony, and Connor. Vanessa is a cutter, Tony is gay, and conor is pressured by his parents. They all end up in the institute together and both take a liking to Vanessa, the most troubled. Tony meets his long lost dad, and connor's parents are un supportive the whole time
