The Road by Cormac McCarthy. (Five Stars)
This book is the ultimate expression of love. It is rare that you find a book that a man will read more than one time. It is more rare when you turn around and see tears streaming from his eyes while he is reading this book. And it is rarer still, when he say: Let's talk about this book.

I have read it. It is dark, grim, hopeful, all enveloping, and sang to that place in me that is the caregiver. I understand that it was necessary to set up the character of the Dad, to have the wife give up, but...could she be anymore gutless?
