No, his pdoc should take your husbands feeling into consideration or how else is he going to treat him correctly? Alot of times i have my husband go in with me & he'll speak up or remind me of something. I think it would be helpful for you to be there because you see alot more of what s going on at home and the doc needs to know. If you find he is not working with you find one who will. I have a wonderful pdoc.
Yes I sometimes find it hard to tell my pdoc everything -so thats why I am so grateful my husband is so supportive.
Your husband is blessed to have you:) I wish you guys all the best:)

My husband is bp & has been on a few different meds (finally on one that works for him.)
When he goes to the doctors he seems to have trouble tell the dr when the meds don't work / or aren't working how they are supposed to.
I just wanted to know if anyone else shys away from telling their drs when something isn't working, or are the drs just too forceful with their "I'm a dr & I know what's best" junk.

I need individuals with a positive outlook on bipolar, ones that are living with it and dealing with it just fine, taking their meds, not questioning every medication, or its side effects etc. This is a place to vent, a place for the mostly balanced bipolars...would appreciate all of your input, have a great weekend, let's try making a good go of this group...
