Don't Quit

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road your're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit!
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far.
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worse,
that you must not quit!!!!!!

I was given this poem, along time ago and thought I would share it with everyone. It helps me out when I am down.

Excellent poem! A girl I used to work with had it on her desk. Then she quit (but it was understandable and made sense because she was a Realtor and she needed to take a job where she'd earn regular pay.)

I need individuals with a positive outlook on bipolar, ones that are living with it and dealing with it just fine, taking their meds, not questioning every medication, or its side effects etc. This is a place to vent, a place for the mostly balanced bipolars...would appreciate all of your input, have a great weekend, let's try making a good go of this group...
