Vitamin therapy

Posted on 06/24/08, 08:03 pm
I read 'A promise of hope' by autumn stringam and because of her moms suicide and her illness her dad helped develop a vitamin therapy.
I suggest reading the book as she is a good writer i really enjoyed it. she was drug resistant and had very severe symptoms and now has been drug free for ten + years leading a normal life.

and one member asked me to keep everyone informed on how im doing with the therapy.

Been almost a week and have already had to decrease my antidepressant which wasn't very high to begin with. made me feel kind of drunk, from the antidepressant absorbing better in my system due to the vitamins balancing out my brain chemistry or so says the uni of cowtown (university of Calgary) research ... many people have an imeadiate response and there is an 80% success rate (so far). think next closest to that is lithium at 60%. and from the research that the only side effects people see is from drug withdrawal and (some see very mild gastro problems for a short while, if at all) then most can lead a normie life drug free.

they have even tested it on children young enough to not know what a placebo effect is. and they too had immediate responses.

i was skeptical of the claims but

will be off at least that med in short while.
then onto my epival gonna go super slow with that. but i do feel somewhat close to normal. ( but its that time of year) and I have a long way to go, to see if this is for me. but i hope it is.
wish me luck.

yup i am and so far im seeing less symptoms other than weaning symptoms that i get every time i switch meds.

i was going to go thru a med change anyhow so i thought since id be a bit messed up anyhow that this would be the time to do it.

i only didnt post a site or anything cus it can be construed as me advertising or something. even though i have nothing to gain.

the most info you can get about it is in autumns book you can get at a book store. or online.

    and their website is http://www.truehope.com/main/index...

I need individuals with a positive outlook on bipolar, ones that are living with it and dealing with it just fine, taking their meds, not questioning every medication, or its side effects etc. This is a place to vent, a place for the mostly balanced bipolars...would appreciate all of your input, have a great weekend, let's try making a good go of this group...
